1. IRobot Roomba i3+ EVO
The iRobot Roomba i3+ EVO is a great robot vacuum that has a variety of smart features that make it more easy to maintain than other models. The automatic bin emptying feature is among the most impressive features we've seen in a robotic vacuum. It works well on carpets and hard floors. It's also simple to set up and operate, with the app guiding you through the process step-by-step. Its ability to resume where it left off in our tests is a great feature. It could do this for 77 minutes on one cleaning, and then the battery died.
The i3+ EVO is different from the other robot vacuums we tested comes with a self-emptying bin that automatically disposes of debris into an external dirt compartment on its charging base when it is full. This makes it easier to maintain the unit and also helps prevent the i3+ EVO from overfilling, however it still requires manually empty after each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO dust bin can hold 2.4L, which is enough to last four to five cleaning sessions.
Similar to the i7, this model is equipped with state-of-the-art floor tracking sensors to create maps and navigate in neat rows. The i3+ EVO can only store one map, whereas the i7 can store multiple. The i7 can also use its map to create no-go zones as well as virtual barriers, however the i3+ EVO cannot.
The i3+ EVO does a better job of removing debris from the surface when compared to other robovacs that we have reviewed, but it is not the best in cleaning edges and corners. It's also not as gentle on furniture, despite being relatively quiet. It was quite rough on furniture as it moved chairs away. It also caused collisions against the sides of the bed.

The Q5 Pro comes with a large dust bin of 770ml, which means that you won't need to empty it as often as other 2-in-1 robots. The Q5 Pro's 240-minute run time is also impressive when contrasted with other 2-in-1 robots we tested. If the battery is empty it goes back to its dock and recharges before resuming cleaning where it left off. It can also be manually programmed to follow a specific route, which is helpful if you have narrow hallways or stairs. In our carpet cleaning test, it did a good job cleaning carpets.
